I'm Kevin. I'm a railroad signal maintainer, and I make six figures without a four-year degree.
I got into the trade the same way I tell you to: I did the research, applied directly on company websites, and followed up. Nobody handed me a spot.
I started posting because I kept getting the same questions. How do I apply? Am I too old? Do I need experience? This site is where I put the answers so you don't have to dig.
What I'm not
I'm not a recruiter and I don't speak for any employer. I can't get you hired. What I can do is show you the steps, point you to official sources, and keep it real about the trade-offs.
